Delivery Information
Delivery Information – The eMinGy Store
This page explains where we ship, how much delivery costs, how long it takes, and your rights under South African law, including the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (CPA) and the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002 (ECTA).
Prices on this page are in South African Rand (ZAR) and, for South African deliveries, are inclusive of VAT where VAT applies. International prices shown are our courier charges from South Africa. They do not include destination customs duty, import VAT or brokerage charged by the destination country. Those charges are the customer’s responsibility unless we state otherwise at checkout.
The total payable (goods + delivery + any known extras) is confirmed on the checkout review screen before you pay. Please check that screen - it is the most accurate quote for your order.

How an order is accepted
Placing an order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed when we send an order-acceptance or dispatch confirmation, or when we make the goods available for collection — whichever happens first. Until then we may decline an order (including obvious pricing errors) and refund any amount already paid.
Delivery times
Times start after we have confirmed payment and the order (not from the moment you click “pay”). Working days exclude weekends and South African public holidays.
- Cape Town, Johannesburg, Pretoria: 3–5 working days
- Other regional areas in South Africa: 4–6 working days
- Remote South African areas: 5–10 working days
- International: typically 5–15 working days after dispatch, plus any customs delay
We aim to supply goods as soon as reasonably possible. Unless a longer period is stated at checkout, we will execute the order within 30 days of receiving it (ECTA section 46). If we cannot, we will notify you and refund amounts paid for the unfulfilled part within 30 days of that notice.
We may contact you to confirm the order or address. Please give a daytime phone number so the courier can reach you. A signature is required for residential deliveries where the courier requires it.
Carriers and proof of delivery
We deliver through third-party couriers (including Dawnwing and DHL) and, where offered, PostNet to PostNet. We may use another reputable carrier. A valid proof of delivery or courier run-sheet is evidence that the parcel was delivered to the address on the order. You must ensure that address is complete and correct.
You may change the address on your account or checkout only before the order is processed. After dispatch, a change may be impossible or may attract an extra courier fee, which we will quote first where we can.
Part-orders may be sent. We will tell you if that happens.
Inspection, risk and loss
Please inspect the parcel on delivery. If the goods do not match the order or are defective, you may refuse delivery or contact us promptly with photos. CPA rights to inspect, reject non-conforming goods, and remedies for defective goods still apply.
Risk of loss or damage generally remains with The eMinGy Store until you (or a person at your nominated address) accept delivery. After accepted delivery, we are not responsible for later loss or unauthorised use of the product, except where the loss is caused by our gross negligence or where the law does not allow us to limit liability.
If an order or part of an order has not arrived, you must tell us within 30 calendar days of the sale date. After that, we may decline a “not delivered” claim where a valid dispatch record exists, except where the CPA or ECTA still requires us to assist.
International shipments, customs and restricted goods
For deliveries outside South Africa, you are the importer of record unless we agree otherwise. You must pay any customs duty, import VAT, brokerage and storage charged in the destination country. We cannot control customs inspections or delays. If a parcel is held, returned or destroyed because of unpaid duties, prohibited contents, or incomplete paperwork you supplied, those costs sit with you and a refund of goods/shipping may not be available.
You must check that the goods are legal to import into your country. We do not ship where it would break South African or destination law.
Cooling-off, returns and refunds
If you are a natural person buying online, ECTA section 44 may give you 7 days after receiving the goods to cancel without giving a reason and without a cancellation penalty. You pay the direct cost of sending the goods back, unless we caused the problem. If you paid before cancelling, we refund within 30 days of cancellation, less any amount the law allows us to keep. This right does not apply to every product (for example certain custom-made goods, goods that cannot be returned by nature, unsealed audio/video/software, and other ECTA section 42 exclusions).
Separate CPA rights apply to goods that are defective, not as described, or unsafe. Those rights cannot be taken away by this page.
Full process: see our Returns Policy. If this page and the Returns Policy differ on a statutory right, the statute wins.
Stock availability
Stock is limited. We try to remove items when they sell out. If we cannot fulfil an accepted order at the advertised price (for example supplier shortage or damaged stock), our liability is to refund the amount you paid for the unfulfilled goods and their unused shipping.
Pricing and errors
We take reasonable care to show correct descriptions, availability, prices and delivery charges on www.martingrobler.com/shop/. If a genuine error appears that is not due to our gross negligence, we may cancel or refuse the affected order and refund what you paid for it. We are not liable for further loss arising only from that error, except as the CPA, ECTA or our Returns Policy require.
Events outside our control
Delivery estimates can slip because of weather, strikes, courier disruption, customs, load-shedding affecting depots, or other events beyond reasonable control. We will keep you informed and complete the order as soon as reasonably possible, or offer a refund of the affected portion.
Personal information
We share your name, address and phone number with the courier only to deliver the order, as explained in our Privacy Policy (POPIA).
Questions and complaints
Email me at store@martingrobler.com or call +27 76 237 2956 during business hours. If we cannot resolve a consumer complaint, you may approach the Consumer Goods and Services Ombud (CGSO) or the National Consumer Commission. This does not limit any other legal right.
